Suzi's Alfredo Sauce

 Fettuccini, reserve 1/2 cup pasta water 

1 stick butter

1 1/2 cup parmesan reggiano

1 cup heavy cream

garlic

salt/pepper


skillet on medium

add butter and garlic until fragrant

add cream, salt, generous black pepper, add pasta water until right consistency

remove from heat, add 1 cup cheese

add fettuccini to sauce and serve topped with remaining cheese
