  From Simple home edit Ingredients PASTA      Salt, for pasta water     250 g (9 oz) fresh lasagna sheets, or fresh fettuccini SAUCE 2 tbsp  olive oil 450 g  ( 1  lb) Italian pork sausages (mild or spicy), casings removed 1 tbsp  freshly minced garlic  1 tbsp  tomato paste (concentrated puree) ½ cup  ( 125  ml) dry white wine (or more chicken stock)  1 cup  ( 250  ml) chicken stock 1 tbsp  Italian mixed herbs (Italian seasoning) ½ tsp  crushed chili (red pepper) flakes (optional) 1 cup  ( 250  ml) thickened (heavy) cream  ½ cup  ( 50 g ) freshly grated parmesan, plus extra to serve  Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions COOK THE PASTA  Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil.
