Restaurant Style Salsa
adapted from Ryan Light
Ingredients
28 oz can of whole, peeled tomatoes
1/2 bunch of cilantro
1 white onion
Juice of 1 lime
1 serrano, stem removed
3-4 cloves garlic, peeled
1 t salt
1/2 t ground black pepper
Step 1
Add tomato juice (we'll use the tomatoes in step 2), garlic cloves, 1/3 of onion, lime juice, serrano, salt, and black pepper to blender. Blend until smooth.
Step 2
Add tomatoes, cilantro, 1/3 of remaining onion (cut into strips) to blender. Pulse to desired chunky consistency.
